David Alexander Robert Peel, who died 7 February, 2022, aged 81, was a scion of the Peels of Trenant Park, a landed gentry family.
He was born 12 November, 1940, the elder son of Major Robert Edmund Peel [1908-1951], and his wife the former Sheila Mary Slattery; and married in 1971, Patricia Muriel Essery, daughter of Capt Albert Edward Essery [1905-69], and his wife the former Dorothy Christine Baker [1911-1978], by whom he had two sons, Robert [b 1973], and William [b 1976].
