Robert Graham Langton [Robin] Brackenbury died at Holme Holme Pierrepont Hall, Nottinghamshire. He was 92, and head of the landed gentry family of that name.
He was born 2 March, 1929, the son of Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Henry Langton Brackenbury, OBE [1903-1979], and his wife the former Eleanor Trewlove Springman [1907-1971]; and married 10 May, 1963, Elizabeth Katharine Mary Matheson [1936-2018], daughter of Ian Keith Matheson [1909-1940], and his wife the former Jean Cecely Grant [1909-1998], scion of the Grants of Rothiemurchus, daughter of John Peter Grant of Rothiemurchus, 13th of that name [1860-1927], and his wife Lady Mary Augusta Pierrepont [1865-1917], daughter of the 3rd Earl Manvers [1825-1900].
Robin Brackenbury leaves two sons and a daughter.
