The engagement was announced 12 February, 2022, between Capt Rupert James Gregory [born 1987], descended from the Grey-Egerton baronets [the 9th Bt], son of Lieutenant-General Sir Andrew Gregory, KBE, CB [born 19 Nov, 1957], of Salisbury, Wiltshire, a former Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff, and Lady Gregory [nee Sally Ann Sheard], and Miss Katherine Cowley, the only daughter of Mr and Mrs Dean Cowley, of Marlborough, Wiltshire.
