Priscilla Weldon died 28 January, 2022, aged 102. She was the widow of Hamilton Weldon [1910-85], scion of the Weldon baronets.
Elwyne Priscilla Chaldecott was born in 1919, daughter of Harold Richards Chaldecott, OBE [1881-1958], of Chantry, Leyburn, North Yorkshire, by his wife the former Elwyne Strickland [1889-1970], daughter of Francis Strickland.
She married 3 January, 1948, as his second wife, Brigadier Hamilton Edward Crosdill [Koko] Weldon [1910-1985], son of Henry Walter Weldon [1878-1925], and his wife the former Helen Louise Victoria Cowan [d 1965], daughter of Sir Edward Cowan, by whom she had issue, two sons, Kevin [born 19 Apr, 1951], and Mark [born 31 Jul 1953], and a daughter, Sari [b 30 Nov, 1948].
