Roger Michael Hippisley-Cox, scion of that landed gentry family, died 16 December, 2021.
He was a younger son of Colonel Sir Edward Geoffrey Hippisley-Cox, CBE, TD [1884-1954], and his wife the former Ethel Milsted Pitcher [1892-1971]; and married in 1958, Elizabeth Jean Hartgill, daughter of Major-General William Claverin Hartgill, CB, OBE, MC [1888-1968], and his wife the former Katherine Robertson Lowe [who d 1967], by whom he had two daughters.
