The engagement was announced 16 December, 2021, between Timothy Sam Kent [born 1983], eldest son of Mr & Mrs Samuel Kent, of Notgrove, Gloucestershire, and Frances Catherine de Haan [born 1988], descended from the Earls of Plymouth, elder twin daughter of Archer Anthony de Haan [born 10 June, 1950], of Bromfield, Shropshire, and his second wife the former Vivien Whittall [born 1961].
