Judith Elizabeth Du Boulay [nee Makgill Crichton Maitland], who died 21 December, 2021, aged 88, was a scion of the Earls of Lauderdale.
She was born 28 July, 1933, daughter of Colonel Henry David Makgill Crichton Maitland [1904-70], and his first wife the former Barbara Ellen Armytage [1906-94], daughter of Brig-Gen Sir George Armytage, 7th Baronet [1872-1953].
She married 29 July, 1965, Anthony John Houssemayne Du Boulay [born 16 July, 1929], scion of that landed gentry family, son of Capt Charles John Houssemayne Du Boulay, RN, and his wife the former Mary Alice Veronica Morgan [d 1964].
