The Hon Patricia Anne Kidston, who died 11 September, 2021, aged 94, was a scion of the Barons Manners. She was a great-granddaughter of the statesman, the 3rd Marquess of Salisbury.
She was born Patricia Anne Manners, 13 May, 1927, daughter of the 4th Baron Manners [1897-1972], and his wife the former Mary Edith Gascoyne-Ceil [1900-94], scion of the Marquesses of Salisbury.
She married 6 April, 1946, John Bonham Kidston [1922-1968], scion of that landed gentry family, son of George Jardine Kidston [1873-1954], and his wife the former Lilian Frances Bonham [1883-1953], scion of the Bonham baronets, by whom she had two sons, Francis [born 12 May 1947], and Jonathan [1949-2012], and a daughter, Virginia [1953-2005].
