Ann Watson [née Forbes-Robertson], who died 10 August, 2021, aged 92, was a scion of the Forbes-Robertson landed gentry family.
Born in 1929, she was a daughter of Colonel James Forbes-Robertson, VC, DSO, MC [1884-1955], and his wife, the former Hilda Forster [1893-1976], scion of the Forster baronets, daughter of Sir Ralph Collingwood Forster, 1st [and last] Baronet [1850-1930].
She married in 1951, Capt John Douglas Watson, MBE [deceased], son of Lieutenant-Colonel D.P. Watson, DSO, of Weymouth, Co Dorset, by whom she had a son, James [born 1955, deceased], and a daughter, Sally [born 1952].
