Sarah Greenwell, who died 4 September, 2021, aged 87, was a granddaughter of the Law Lord the Baron Carson of Duncairn.
She was the former Sarah Greenwell, daughter of Capt the Hon Walter Seymour Carson, RN [1890-1946], and his wife the former Violet Taswell Richardson [1893-1968], and married 22 July, 1955, as his second wife, Basil Evelyn Greenwell [1915-1990], scion of the Greenwell baronets, by whom she had issue, two sons, Simon and Giles, and two daughters, Joanna and Virginia.
