The engagement was announced 14 September, 2021, between Hamish Godman-Dorington [born 1992], descended from the Forwood baronets, youngest son of William Godman-Dorington [born 1960], of Graffham, west Sussex, and his wife the former Amanda Elizabeth Forwood [born 30 Apr, 1963], Laura Marshall, eldest daughter of Mr & Mrs Ian Marshall, of Cladymilltown, Co Armagh.
Hamish Godman-Dorington is a grandson maternally of Sir Peter Noel Forwood, 4th [and last] Baronet [1925-2019].
