The engagement was announced 27 September, 2021, between Alexander James Cooksley [born 1992], elder son of Steven Cooksley, of Coulsdon, Surrey, and his wife the former Gillian Taylor, & Mary Rose Avril Ropner [born 1991], scion of the Ropner baronets, eldest daughter of Charles Guy Corban Ropner [born 2 February, 1959], of Bedale, North Yorkshire, and his wife the former Emma Andrews.
