The engagement was announced 8 September, 2021, between Matthew John Oliver Allhusen [born 28 November, 1991], scion of that landed gentry family, son of Christian Henry Allhusen [born 1956], of Bradenham, Norfolk, and his wife the former Penelope Amanda Rae [born 1959], and Auriel V.F. Sutardja, daughter of Mr and Mrs Hartanto Sutardja, of Jakarta, Indonesia.
