Georgina Mary Gabrielle Clayton, who died at Edinburgh, 13 June, 2021, aged 88, was a scion of the Buchanan baronets. She was born 15 December, 1932, daughter of Major Sir Charles James Buchanan, 4th Baronet [1899-1984], and his wife the former Barbara Helen Stanley [1906-86], scion of the Earls of Derby; she married 16 Apr, 1966, Michael Denzil Grierson Clayton [1931-91], son of [John] Derrick Grierson Clayton [1903-73], and his wife the former Audrey Villiers [1905-81], scion of the Earls of Clarendon.
She leaves a son, Roger [born 1969], and a daughter, Harriet [born 1971].
