Anne Young [nee Evans-Freke] who died 27 June, 2021, aged 87, was a scion of the Barons Carbery, a granddaughter of the 9th Baron.
She was born in 1933, daughter of Major the Hon Ralfe Evans-Freke [1897-1969], and his second wife the former Phyllis Thorpe [1908-77]; and married in 1957, Ross Young [1933-2009], son of Albert Edwyn Hamlyn Young [1904-65], and his wife the former Hilda May Gerrish [1904-88], by whom she had a son, and two daughters.
