_.Lieutenant-Colonel Simon Fordham, OBE, late the Welsh Guards, scion of that landed gentry family, of Melbourn Bury, died 10 June, 2021. He was 78.
He was born 3 March, 1943, son of Douglas Lawson Fordham [b 1912], of Helsby, Cheshire, and his wife the former Freda Mary Rabnett; married 1968, Susan Elizabeth Tattersall, by whom he had issue, Melanie, Nicholas, Natasha and Edward.
A celebration of his life will be held 21 Oct, 2021, at St Andrew's Church, Mells.
