The Hon Richard Chartres is a son of the life peer the Baron Chartres, GCVO, PC [born 11 July, 1947], former Bishop of London, and his wife the former Caroline Mary McLintock.
Emma Chartres is a daughter of John Silvester Varley, and his wife the former Carolyn Thorn Pease [born 8 June, 1957], scion of the Pease baronets, daughter of Sir Richard Thorn Pease, 3rd Baronet [1922-2021].
