She was born 28 Apr, 1934, daughter of Maj. Thomas John Arnott [1899-1979], and his wife the former Lettice Mary Crompton-Roberts [1903-86], and was a granddaughter of Maj. Sir John Alexander Arnott, 2nd Baronet [1853-1940]. She was unm.
