_. Jean Jocelyn Morris-Eyton [nee Miles], died 10 January, 2021, aged 93.
She was born in 1927, a scion of the Miles landed gentry family, of Tilstock, daughter of Major-General Eric Grant Miles, CB, DSO, MC [1891-1977], and his wife the former Lady Marcia Valda Jocelyn [1891-1972], scion of the Earls of Roden, and a granddaughter of the 7th Earl of Roden [1845-1915]. She married in 1956, Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Charles Gilfrid [Gilly] Morris-Eyton, TD [1921-1990], scion of the Eyton landed gentry family, by whom she had a son and a daughter.
