Edward Elletson is a grandson maternally of the 2nd Earl of Woolton [1922-1969], by his wife the triple peeress, [Cecily] Josephine Gordon-Cumming [1925-2012], scion of the baronets of that name, and later wife of the 3rd Baron Forres [1922-1978] and the 3rd Earl Lloyd George of Dwyfor [1924-2010].
Edwina Elkington is a great-granddaughter of the 9th Earl of Shaftesbury [1869-1961].
