_. Stella Tennant, one of Britain's leading supermodels, and scion of the Barons Glenconner, died 22 December, 2020, at Duns, Berwickshire. She was 50.
Stella Tennant was born 17 December, 1970, the third child of the Hon Tobias William Tennant [born 1 June, 1941], and his wife the Lady Emma Cavendish [born 26 March, 1943], and was a granddaughter paternally of the 2nd Baron Glenconner [1899-1983], and a granddaughter maternally of the 11th Duke of Devonshire, KG [1920-2004] and of Deborah [Debo] Duchess of Devonshire, one of the celebrated 'Mitford Sisters'.
Stella Tennant was sometime the 'Face of Chanel' and one of Britain's top catwalk mannequins.
She married 22 May, 1999, David Lasnet, by whom she had four children, Cecily, Jasmine, Iris and Marcel.
