The marriage took place 19 December, 2020, of Alexander Henry de Gruce Grubb Villiers-Stuart [born 1984], son of Nicholas de Cruce Grubb [born 28 November, 1950], and his wife the former Barbara Villiers-Stuart [born 7 Aug, 1955], and Princess Teresa Elisabeth Marina Franziska zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg [born 1988], daughter of Prince Johannes zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, and his wife the former Bettina von Molo.
Alexander is a descendant of the 1st Marquess of Bute, and a descendant of King Charles II. His bride is also a descendant of the 'Merrie Monarch'.
