_. David Gerald Charles Guinness, who died in Gloucestershire, 6 December, 2020, aged 81, was a scion of the banking branch of the eponymous brewing dynasty.
He was born 3 August, 1939, son of Gerald Richard de Capell Brooke Guinness [1899-1975], and his wife the former Desirée Ann Eda Welby, scion of the Earle Welby baronets.
David is survived by a nephew, Alexander Edward de Capell Brooke [born 27 May, 1968], and by a niece, Carolina Isabella de Capell Brooke [born 22 Aug 1970].
