_. Althea Hermione Parsons died 5 December, 2020, aged 89.
She was born in 1931, daughter of Charles Anthony Stanley Prowse [1904-1981], and his wife the former Esme Edith Millais [1902-1987], scion of the Millais baronets, and was a granddaughter maternally of Sir Geoffrey William Millais, 4th Baronet [1863-1941].
She married in 1968, the Rev. Desmond John Parsons [1925-2014], scion of the Earls of Rosse, of Birr Castle, Co Offaly, son of the Rev. Canon Richard Edward Parsons [1888-1971], and his wife Hester Katherine Drummond [1889-1954], scion of the Drummond Earls of Perth.
Mrs Parsons leaves a son, Benedict and daughter, Francesca.
