The Baroness Walsingham 1928-2020

 _. The Baroness Walsingham, wife of the 9th Baron Walsingham, MC, died 26 September, 2020. She was 92.

Lady Walsingham was born Wendy Elizabeth Hoare, in 1928, a daughter of Edward Sidney Hoare [1902-75], of Southwick, Sussex, by his wife the former Bertha Dorothy Teague [1890-1977], and married 30 July, 1963, the then Lieutenant-Col the Hon John de Grey, MC, son and heir of the 8th Baron Walsingham [1884-1965], by his wife the former Hyacinth Lambart Bouwens [died 1968]. Her husband succeeded his father, 29 Nov, 1965, as 9th Baron Walsingham, in the Peerage of Gt Britain. 

She is survived by her husband and son, the Hon Robert de Grey [born 21 June, 1969], and two daughters, the Hon Sarah [born 1964], and the Hon Elizabeth [born 1966].

The private funeral is to take place at St Peter's Church, Merton, Norfolk.
