_. The engagement was announced 7 September, 2020, between Jack H.G. Hawker, son of the late Dickon Hawker, and Mrs Hawker, of Salway Ash, Dorset, & Lucinda Sophie Rose James [born 1989], daughter of Lieutenant-Colonel Richard C.D. James, of Halstock, Dorset, by his wife the former Fiona Martha Alison Rhys [born 28 June, 1962], scion of the Barons Dynevor.
Lucinda James's grandfather, Llewelyn Arthur Rhys [1935-2005], was a son of the Hon David Reginald Rhys [1907-91], by his first wife, Lady Anne Maud Wellesley [1910-98], the Duquesa de Ciudad Rodrigo [who ceded this Spanish dukedom in 1949 to her uncle, the 7th Duke of Wellington], daughter of the 5th Duke of Wellington, KG [1876-1941].
