_. [Edward] Douglas Stewart Aldrich-Blake died 16 August, 2020, aged 81. He was a scion of that landed gentry family.
He was born 7 April, 1939, son of Edward Percy Aldrich-Blake, FRGS, by his wife the former Bertha Stewart-Sandeman, scion of the Stewart-Sandeman baronets; educated at Eton; married 7 June, 1963, Penelope Anne Blanchford, by whom he had five children.
