_.Brian Edward Allfrey, who died 24 August, 2020, aged 82, was a scion of that landed gentry family, with a plethora of aristocratic families.
He was born 4 Apr, 1938, son of Hubert Mortimer Allfrey [1911-2001], by his wife the former Joan Marsham [1911-62], scion of the Earls of Romney.
He leaves a widow, Antonia, and three children, Simon, Clare and Ed.
