__. James Hillary Aarvold, who died 24 June, 2020, aged 74, was descended from the Hill baronets [UK, cr 1917]. He was born in 1946, son of Sir Carl Douglas Aarvold, JP, OBE, TD, DL [1907-1991], judge, sometime Recorder of London, by his wife the former Noeline Etrenne Hill [1909-2005], scion of the Hill baronets. He married 1976, Dr Jillian Stanley Jones, by whom he had issue, three children, Alexander, Pippin and Tom.
