_. Major Arthur David George Llewellyn, MC, late the Scots Guards, sometime of Churston Court, Brixham, co Devon, died 26 March, 2020. He was 97.
He was a son of Brigadier Henry Evan Llewellyn, DSO [1871-1948], of Nethway House, Devon, byb his wife the former Clara Maude Ross, MBE [1891-1967].
Career: Major, Scots Guards; awarded the MC.
Llewellyn married 29 Aug 1950, Loveday Roselle Clementine Bolitho [1923-2007], scion of that landed family, daughter of Richard John Bruce Bolitho, of Rosel Manor, Jersey, Channel Islands, by his wife the former Roselle Lempriere, by whom he had issue, a son, Henry Bolitho Llewellyn, and 3 daughters, Roselle, Garlinda, and Zelle.
Arthur Llewellyn's granddaughter, Alice Rose Llewellyn [born 1980], is Viscountess Windsor, wife of the heir to the 4th Earl of Plymouth.
