_. David Robert Micklem, who died 1 March, 2020, aged 88, was a scion of that landed gentry family, born in 1931 son of Commander Sir Edward Robert Micklem, CBE, RN [1891-1952], by his wife the former Sybil Ursula Head [1899-1970], scion of the viscounts Head; married 1956, Sarah Caroline Georgiana Milburn [born 1935], scion of the Milburn baronets, by whom he had issue, a son and two daughters.
The funeral takes place at St Mary and St Lawrence Church, Great Waltham, 30 March, 2020.
