_. Capt Peter Edward Findlay Heneage, late the Royal Artillery, scion of the Heneage landed gentry family, died 24 March, 2020, aged 97.
Peter Heneage served as a deputy lieutenant for the county of Lincolnshire.
He was born 5 February, 1923, son of Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Arthur Pelham Heneage, DSO [1881-1971], MP for Louth, Lincolnshire 1924-45, a descendant of the Barons Petre, by his wife the former Anne Findlay.
He married 5 March, 1949, Jean Georgiana Ethel Douglas [b 5 July, 1922], a granddaughter paternally of the 19th Earl of Morton [1844-1935], and a granddaughter maternally of the 3rd Baron Raglan [1857-1921], by whom he had three sons, Thomas, Charles and Robert, and a daughter, Julia.
