The engagement was announced 25 September, 2019, between Prince Rostislav Romanov [born 1985], scion of the Royal House of Russia, elder son of the late Prince Rostislav Rostislavavitch Romanov [1938-1999] by his wife the former Christia Ipsen [born 3 April, 1949 - now the Baroness Ampthill], and Foteini Maria Christina Georganta, daughter of the late Mr Philippos S. Georgantas and of Mrs Philippos Georganta, of Athens, Greece.
Prince Rostislav is a grandson of Prince Rostislav [1902-78], a great-grandson of Xenia, Grand Duchess of Russia [1875-1960], and a great-great-grandson of Alexander III, Tsar of Russia [1845-94] &c.
Prince Rostislav is the father of a son, Rostislav Georgante.
