The Hon Richard King, who died in South Carolina, United States, 30 August, 2019, was born in 1943, son of the Baron King of Wartnaby [1918-2005], a life peer, sometime chairman of British Airways, by his 1st wife the former Lorna Kathleen Sykes [1914-69]; married 1985, Monika, daughter of Erich Boehm, of Florida, United States, by whom he had issue, a son, John-Erich.
