Sampson, son of Mr and Mrs Nigel Sampson, of Thorpe Underwood, North Yorkshire, and Lily Annabel Mary Bristow [born 1989], , daughter of Mr Timothy Dominic Ian James Bristow [born 1 July, 1959], of the Isle of Wight, and his former wife the former Annabel J.D. Palmer [now Mrs Richard Fife, of Great Langton, North Yorkshire].
Lily Bristow's grandfather, James Percy Bristow married in 1958, the Hon Caroline Jean Lawson Johnston [born 25 Dec, 1935], daughter of the 2nd Baron Luke [1905-96].
