Michael Henry Stanhope Dormer, who died 29 July, 2019, aged 88, was a scion of the Barons Dormer; born 8 December, 1930, son of Robert Stanhope Dormer [1880-1960], by his wife the former Ebba Harline d'Ilberville Le Moyne Whyte [died 1961]; married 21 January, 1959, Daphne Margaret Battine [died 12 Oct, 2018], daughter of Capt Oswald James Battine [d 1938], by his wife the former Gwendolin Margaret Mary Grace MacRae, a granddaughter of the 3rd Marquess of Bute.
He leaves a son, Merlin, and two daughters, Leanda and Athena.
The funeral takes place at St Francis de Sales Church, Wash Common, Newbury, 27 August, 2019.
