Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Adair Campbell, late the Royal Marines, who died 2 August, 2019, aged 91, was a scion of the Campbells of Strathcaro [now Adamson], born in 1928, son of Lt-Col Henry Alastair Campbell, OBE [1895-1971], by his wife the former Aileen Emmet [1903-69], scion of the Emmet family of Amberley; married 1951, Norma L. Tyler [born 1932], daughter of Major-General Sir Leslie Norman Tyler, KBE, CB [1904-92], by whom he had four sons and three daughters.
A Requiem Mass takes place at St Mary's Church, Blairs, Aberdeen, 21 August, 2019.
