_. Peter Allan Kirby Ottewell, late the Royal Highland Fusiliers, died 28 June, 2019. He was born in 1943, a son of Major Walter Kirby Ottewell [1918-2000] by his wife the former Agnes Mary Clark [1918-1986]; married firstly, 1967, Joanna M. Ratcliffe [b 1945]; married secondly, 1991, as her second husband, the Hon Angela Spring Rice [1950-2015], daughter of the 6th Baron Monteagle of Brandon [1926-2013], by his wife the former Anne Brownlow [b 1928].
He leaves three daughters, Annabel, Emily and Victoria, from his first marriage.
The funeral takes place at Portpatrick Parish Church, 15 July, 2019.
