Barbara Alison Laurence [died 2019]

_. Mrs Barbara Laurence, who died at Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire, 2 July, 2019, was the mother-in-law of the Princess Royal.

Mrs Laurence [nee Symonds] who was 90, was the widow of Commander Guy Stewart Laurence, and the mother of two sons, Jonathan, and Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, KCVO, husband since 1992 of HRH The Princess Royal. Her husband had distinguished naval ancestors, being a great-great grandson of Admiral Sir Robert Moorsom, KCB, who was with Nelson at Trafalgar.

The funeral and Thanksgiving Service will be held at St Giles Church, Great Wishford, 20 July, 2019.
