_. Rear-Admiral Timothy Bevan, CB, who died 6 June, 2019, aged 88, was a scion of the Bevans of Trent Park landed gentry family.
He was born 7 April, 1931, son of Thomas Richard Bevan [1890-1970] by his wife the former Margaret Turnure [1896-1974]; married Georgiana Sarah Ann Knight, a granddaughter of the 2nd Baron Monk Bretton, who predeceased him leaving issue, three sons, Tom, Michael and Richard.
