_. Joyce Hilary Garnier, who died in Norfolk, 22 May, 2019, aged 95, was a scion of the Garnier landed family, and descended via both parents from the Earls of Albemarle.
She was born 9 Dec, 1923, daughter of Henry Keppel Garnier [1887-1971] by his wife the former Hilda Gertrude Straker [1891-1971]. Her father was a great-grandson of the 4th Earl of Albemarle [1772-1849], and her mother, scion of the Strakers of Stagshaw, was also descended from the 4th Earl.
