The marriage took place, 18 May, 2019, between Charles Nicholas Morrison (born 1985), son of William David Morrison (born 1940), and his wife the former Sandra Elizabeth Zia Butter (born 26 July, 1948), and Julie van Hassel.
Charles Morrison is a grandson of Maj Sir David Henry Butter, KCVO, MC (1920-2010), and his wife Myra Alice Wernher (1925-2022), daughter of Maj-Gen Sir Harold Augustus Wernher, 3rd Baronet, GCVO (1893-1973), and his wife Countess Anastasia [Zia] de Torby (1892-1977), descended from the Royal House of Russia.
