Sir Iain Fraser, 3rd Baronet, who died 3 April, 2019, aged 67, was owner of The Elephant House chain of cafe/bistros in Edinburgh [since 1994]; born Iain Michael Duncan Fraser, 27 June, 1951, elder son of Sir James Fraser, 2nd Bt, by his wife the former Edith Maureen Reay; succeeded to the baronetcy, of Tain, County Ross, cr in 1943, on the death of his father, 1997.
Married 1981 [div 1990] Sherylle Ann Gillespie, of Wellington, NZ; married 2ndly, 2004, Mrs Anne Ferguson [nee Sim].
Was sales manager, Edinburgh & Hong Kong Ben Line Containers Ltd 1974-80; international traffic manager, Asia, Amerex International, 1980-84; sales marketing management, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York & San Francisco, American President Lines, 1984-94, etc.
It was at the Elephant House cafe where JK Rowling penned her first Harry Potter book.

He leaves a son and daughter from his first marriage. The baronetcy is now inherited by his only son, Benjamin James Fraser, who was born 6 April, 1986.
