The engagement was announced 16 February, 2019, between Thomas Edward Joseph Baring (born 1979), scion of the banking dynasty of that name, son of Mr Oliver Alexander Guy Baring (b 8 September, 1944), of Madrid, by his former wife the former Veronica Henderson (born 29 July, 1946), of Cawdor, Scotland, & Yulia Fomina, eldest daughter of Mr Mikhail Fomin and Mrs Irina Fomina, of Sochi, Russia.
Tom Baring is a scion of the Barons Ashburton. His mother, Mrs Veronica Baring is a scion of the Barons Faringdon.
