Whittington (1909-51), by his wife the former Norah Ward (b 1912); married 1976, Sara Georgina Fitzpatrick (b 1948) d of Lt-Gen Sir (Geoffrey Richard) Desmond Fitzpatrick, GCB, GCVO, DSO, MBE, MC (1912-2002) and his 1st w Mary Sara Campbell (1917-96, d of Sir Charles Ralph CAMPBELL of Auchinbreck 12th Bt (1881-1948)).
