Sir Roderick Inglis of Glencorse, 10th Baronet 1936-2018

_. Sir Roderick Inglis of Glencorse, 10th Baronet, died 19 June, 2018. He was 82.

Sir Roderick, of Loganbank, Milton Bridge, Penicuik, Midlothian, and Clarendon House, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, a physician, was the tenth holder of the baronetcy created in 1702.

He was born 25 January, 1936, the son of Sir Maxwell Inglis of Glencorse, 9th Baronet (1903-74), by his wife the former Dorothy Evelyn Stewart (1903-70), of Tasmania; succeeded his father in 1974; married firstly, 13 Sept, 1960 (div 1975), Rachel Evelyn, only daughter of Lt-Col Noel Meeson Morris, of Dowdstown, Co Louth, by whom he had issue, three sons and a daughter; married 2ndly, 1975 (div 1977) Geraldine, daughter of Rees Henry Kirk, and had further issue, one daughter; married 3rdly, 1986 (div 1997) Marilyn, daughter of A.L. Irwin, of Glasgow.

Sir Roderick is succeeded as 11th baronet by his second, but eldest surviving son from his first marriage, Ian Richard Inglis, who was born 9 Aug, 1965.
