_. Philip Hugh Harford, who died 13 June, 2018, aged 71, was descended from the Leveson-Gower Earls Gower (later Dukes of Sutherland).
He was born 14 Aug, 1946, elder son of Mark William Harford (d 1969), scion of that landed family, by his wife the former Elizabeth Ellen Leveson-Gower (1915-2008).
He was husband of Willa Harford, and father of William and Harriet.
A Service of Thanksgiving takes place at the Church of St James the Elder, Horton, 4 July, 2018.
