Gerald Conrad Erskine was born 4 September, 1957, the eldest son of Roger Thomas Erskine (1933-1975), and his wife the former Florence Elizabeth Taylor. He married 1stly, 28 August, 1978 (div. 2001), Carolyn White, daughter of Clifford White, of Bathurst, New Brunswick; married 2ndly, in August, 2002, Cynthia _______.
From his first marriage he leaves three sons, John, Ian and David.
