Robert Gerard Charles Noel 1928-2014

_. (Robert) Gerard Charles Noel, who died 23 September, 2014, was a scion of the Earls of Gainsborough (Earl, UK, cr 1841).

He was born in 1928, a son of Lt-Col Maurice Waldegrave Noel (1888-1958), by his wife the former Elisabeth Christine Edith Gairdner (d 1981). He married 1961 (div 1988) Gillian Margaret Halse, no issue. No issue.

Mr Noel was a freemason, Rosicrucian, Freeman of the City of London; Knight of Justice, Order of St Lazarus; Knight Grand Cross, Order of St Raphael; Knight, Order of the Temple of Jerusalem; late, Lieutenant, Royal Marines; stockbroker, &c.

Funeral at St Mary's Church, Newent, 7 Oct.
