Rosamond Countess of Cardigan dies aged 63

Rosamond Jane Countess of Cardigan, who died 4 July, 2012, at the age of 63, was the former wife of David Michael James Brudenell-Bruce, styled Earl of Cardigan (b 12 Nov 1952), son and heir of the 8th Marquess of Ailesbury (Peerage of the UK, cr 1821).

She was born Rosamond Jane Winkley, dau of Capt W.R.M. Winkley, of Bruton, Somerset, and married Lord Cardigan in 1980. They divorced in 2009.

She is survived by a son, Thomas James, styled Viscount Savernake (b 1982), and by a daughter Lady Catherine Anna Brudenell-Bruce (b 1984) a singer and songwriter,who found fame recently as 'Bo Bruce' on the reality TV programme 'The Voice'.
